Sporting clay pigeon shooting on our comprehensive automatic shooting school. Try many different disciplines, ranging from the driven grouse to the springing teal and high pheasant.
Full instruction, gun hire, clays and cartridges are all included. This can be done on an individual basis or a large corporate day.
The exciting and popular sport of clay pigeon shooting has been enjoyed by so many people from all walks of life at Sunlaws for many years along with our many different sporting activities.
Our experienced instructors will follow a structured approach to your training, but as in all sporting "disciplines" success will only be forthcoming with dedication and practice.
We hope that our lessons will be able to offer you sound training and advice. Within your lessons you will go through safety, gun fit, mount, stance and etiquette, before enjoying the thrill and satisfaction of breaking clays.
A private lesson will comprise of 100 clays and cartridges, full instruction and all equipment required for the lesson. The duration of a lesson very much depends on the individual. This said, a lesson lasts approximately 60 minutes. The clients should supply strong shoes and waterproofs should the weather turn inclement.
A lesson can also be used as "an accompanied practice", i.e. should the client be an experienced shot, they may wish to have one or two lessons to brush up on their stance, mount, or even technique. Again all equipment will be supplied.
